Locality:Laurel Hill (Snake Hill) Quarry, Secaucus, Hudson County, New Jersey
Description:Lustrous black-metallic octahedral magnetite crystals to 14 mm on edge with yellow-metallic chalcopyrite in a calcite-filled vein. The calcite was dissolved to reveal the magnetite. This was in my private collection because it was the best from the site.
