Mineral:Quartz with Pyrite
Locality:Yamanoo, Ibaragi Prefecture, Japan
Description:Cluster of translucent light-gray quartz crystals to 18 mm long with yellow-metallic pyrite crystals to 1 mm in the center of the cluster. The surfaces of the quartz crystals have red hematite microcrystals that give the quartz a pink color.
