Mineral:Fluorite and Calcite on Sphalerite
Locality:Minerva #1 Mine, Cave-in-Rock District, Hardin County, Illinois
Description:Transparent pale-blue cubic fluorite crystals to 16 mm and colorless scalenohedral calcite crystals to 14 mm on translucent brown sphalerite crystals to 12 mm. One calcite crystal has a cleaved tip and the fluorite crystal on the left edge is cleaved.
