Mineral:Fluorite with Pyrite
Locality:Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Smith County, Tennessee
Description:Transparent cubic fluorite crystals to 32 mm across with cubic metallic pyrite crystals to 2 mm included in the outer layers. The internal fluorite is yellowish-gray overgrown with purple outer zones. Darker purple halos are around the pyrite inclusions.
