Locality:Minerva #1 Mine, Rosiclare Level, Cave-in-Rock District, Hardin County, Illinois
Description:Glassy cubic fluorite crystals with areas in the lower middle of black bitumen, a natural hydrocarbon. The fluorite crystals have translucent yellow cores with transparent blue and purple outer zones. The center crystal has a bruised corner. Ex. S. Nightingale; originally acquired in 1991
