Description:Limonite-stained quartz pseudomorphs after tapering anhydrite crystals to 45 mm long. The bottom shows the anhydrite impressions throughout. The specimen includes a loose quartz cast that formed in the hollow anhydrite molds. Ex. Joe Cilen (1916-1997) #8697; ex. Walter P. Sachs (author of The Story Of The Great Notch Quarry in R.M. 1940); ex. George O. Simmons (1843-1918)
