Locality:Keith Quarry, Mount Apatite, Auburn, Androscoggin County, Maine
Description:Lustrous transparent purple fluorapatite crystals to 4 mm long on platy white cleavelandite variety of albite crystals to 10 mm with a few partial crystals of translucent green elbaite. The purple apatite crystals are hexagonal with secondary edge faces. Ex. M. L. Keith ca. 1930; ex. T.M. Phetteplace (?-1996)
