Mineral:Azurite pseudomorphs after Chalcostibite
Locality:Rar-el-Anz, Cherrat Wadi, Casablanca Prefecture, Morocco
Description:Blue azurite pseudomorphs after blocky chalcostibite crystals to 20 mm long with remnants of metallic chalcostibite visible where the cores are exposed. The chalcostibite crystallized first then altered to, or was coated by, blue azurite.
