Description:Nodule of gray-to-red banded agate with a fresh exposure revealing the concentric banded structure. Agate is rare and highly sought after from N.J. The entire nodule is banded agate and this could be sawn and polished for lapidary use. Ex. Wilfred R. Welsh collection #2203
