Locality:Muzo Mine, Vasquez-Yacopí District, Boyacá Department, Colombia
Description:Lustrous transparent emerald crystal, the green gem variety of beryl, 8 mm long in dark gray matrix with transparent gray calcite plus scattered yellow-metallic pyrite crystals to 1 mm. One corner of the emerald crystal is chipped.
