Locality:Stirling Brook, Warren Township, Somerset County, New Jersey
Description:Translucent amber-colored plate of carnelian variety of chalcedony quartz with botryoidal surfaces on the inner surfaces of the concave formation. The chalcedony formed in cavities in basalt that weathered away.
Overall Size:7x3.5x1.5 cm
Crystals:8 mm thick
