Mineral:Quartz with Rutile inclusions (Rutilated Quartz)
Locality:Novo Horizonte, Bahia, Brazil
Description:Transparent quartz crystal, variety citrine, with long needle-like golden rutile crystals to 40 mm running through the quartz. Several faces of the quartz crystal were skillfully polished on a flat lap to increase the visibility of the rutile inclusions.
