Locality:Bolton Lime Quarries, Rattlesnake Hill, Worcester County, Massachusetts
Description:Elongated gray-white meionite crystals embedded in milky quartz from the old locality first described ca. 1823. These specimens were frequently mislabeled as petalite based on early descriptions, but Palache clarified the mineral species in 1923.
