Mineral:Sphalerite and Galena (Spinel-law twinned) with Quartz
Locality:Deveti Septemvri Mine, Madan District, Rhodope Mountains, Bulgaria
Description:Sharp well-crystallized lustrous black tetrahedral sphalerite crystals to 15 mm with gray-metallic galena crystals to 4 mm plus a few minor quartz crystals to 6 mm. Both the galena and sphalerite are twinned following the Spinel Law of twinning.
