Mineral:Fluorite over Barite
Locality:Caldwell Stone Quarry, Danville, Boyle County, Kentucky
Description:Transparent cubic fluorite crystals up to 11 mm across over white barite matrix. The fluorite crystals are colorless with a thin purple outer layer. The barite fluoresces white under UV illumination. See: Rocks and Minerals, May-June 1981, pg. 110.
