Description:Terminated elbaite tourmaline crystal from the famous 1972 discovery. The elbaite crystal has a green outer rind with bright pink core zone, hence the name Watermelon Tourmaline. The bottom was sawn and polished to highlight the internal color zoning. Ex. John H. Marshall (1931-2008) collection
