Mineral:Sodalite
Locality:Sar-e-Sang, Kokscha Valley, Badakshan, Afghanistan
Description:Distinct, well defined translucent blue sodalite crystals on one face of white marble with bottom sawn flat to remove excess marble without damage. The sodalite has a pale blue core with medium blue outer layers. Smaller crystals are dark blue.
Overall Size:10x6x6 cm
Crystals:3-18 mm
