Description: | Large plate of quartz epimorphs after prismatic anhydrite crystals to 35 mm. The anhydrite crystallized first, then was surrounded (coated) with later quartz microcrystals, finally the anhydrite dissolved leaving rhombic molds after anhydrite. Ex. J. Durkos collection #z171 |
