Mineral:Sphalerite on Quartz with Calcite
Locality:Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Smith County, Tennessee
Description:Gray limestone coated on all surfaces with lustrous transparent colorless quartz crystals to 1 mm with scattered transparent red-brown sphalerite crystals to 9 mm and lustrous scalenohedral transparent orange calcite crystals to 8 mm.
Overall Size:5.5x4.5x2.5 cm
