Locality:Loni (Nashik-Poona Road), Maharashtra, India
Description:Spherical formation 20 mm diameter composed of fine, hair-like mordenite crystals to 10 mm on glassy transparent green apophyllite crystals to 26 mm. Mordenite is a common mineral, but not common as mineral specimens from the Deccan basalts. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection #695; originally acquired in 1994 from D. Blauwet
