Description:Compact mass emerald-green chrome-rich grossular garnet microcrystals with olive-green diopside and black chromite. The garnets from this locality are often misidentified as uvarovite garnets, but are a chrome-rich variety of grossular. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection #630; ex. Scott J. Williams (1924-1997); collected by Gunnar Bjareby (1899-1967)
