Description:Large red-black partial crystals of neptunite in white natrolite on serpentine. Though the neptunite crystals appear black, careful examination under strong illumination shows they are actually translucent red. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection #266; originally acquired in 1942 from Curt Nicolaus Schuette (1895-1975) manager of New Almaden Mines
