Locality:Boekenhouthoek area, Mpumalanga Province, South Africa
Description:Large cluster of elongated tapered quartz crystals with smaller sparkling purple amethyst quartz crystals to 2 mm crystallized over the larger quartz prism faces, but not the termination faces. These specimens are frequently sold as Cactus Quartz.
