Description: | Sparkling white dolomite pseudomorphs after scalenohedral calcite crystals to 32 mm. The calcite crystallized first, was overgrown by a thin layer of quartz. The calcite dissolved away leaving the quartz, which was then coated by dolomite microcrystals. |
