Description:Dense mass of metallic cobaltite with alteration rims around the perimeter of whitish metallic smaltite, the obsolete varietal name for the mineral skutterudite. One face was sawn and polished to highlight the metallic zones. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection
