Description:Translucent pink ruby crystal, the pink gem variety of the mineral species corundum, in gray matrix. The ruby corundum crystal is tapered, hexagonal form and flattened in one axis. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection #641; originally acquired in 1992
