Mineral:Fluorapatite with Quartz and Hematite
Locality:Cerro de Mercado, Durango, Mexico
Description:Lustrous transparent yellow apatite crystals to 20 mm long with colorless quartz crystals to 5 mm in brown metallic hematite. The apatite formed first, then was conglomerated with hematite and quartz (some crystals are incomplete even though in matrix). Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection #351; originally acquired in 1957 from K. Wood
