Locality:Pitts-Tenney Quarry, Minot, Androscoggin County, Maine
Description:Several crystals of lustrous orange-brown dodecahedral grossular garnet crystals on quartz with green diopside. The grossular garnet crystals were extracted from solid rock and a few corners are incomplete as a result. Acquired in 1991 from Duane Leavitt of Buckfield, Maine
