Description:Water-worn banded nodule of wood tin, the variety of the mineral cassiterite named for the concentric growth layers that resembles the rings of a tree. Nalle acquired this while evaluating a mining property for Behre Dolbear. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection
