Mineral:Fluorite on Microcline with Smoky Quartz
Locality:Moat Mountain, Hale's Location, Carroll County, New Hampshire
Description:Transparent green octahedral fluorite crystal 8 mm across in a shallow cavity lined with dark smoky quartz crystals to 10 mm and blocky microcline crystals to 14 mm. The previous owner sprayed the specimen with acrylic coating visible under 20x. Ex. Larry Krause (1945-2010) collection
