Locality:Machów mine, Tarnobrzeg, Poland
Description:Lustrous water-clear (transparent) prismatic celestine crystals to 16 mm intermixed with translucent yellow sulfur matrix. The celestine (celestite) crystals fluoresce white under UV illumination and continue to phosphoresce when UV is extinguished. Ex. Larry Krause (1945-2010) collection
