Locality:Naica District, Saucillo, Chihuahua, Mexico
Description:Lustrous black octahedral sphalerite crystals exhibiting complex, repeated twinning following the Spinel Law resulting in coarse surface striations on the sphalerite crystal faces which are actually the twin planes. Calcite crystals to 3 mm on bottom. Ex. Larry Krause (1945-2010) collection
