Locality:Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil
Description:Finely crystallized tan-colored calcite microcrystals in hemispherical aggregates to 17 mm diameter on transparent purple amethyst quartz crystals to 8 mm. Note the unusual border between the calcite and the amethyst. A few quartz crystals are chipped. Ex. Larry Krause (1945-2010) collection
