Description:Lustrous hexagonal gray-metallic hematite crystals completely covering one face of tan-colored matrix. Originally labeled by the Rocksmiths as hematite pseudomorphs after marcasite, there is no evidence of pseudomorphism or marcasite crystal form. Ex. Larry Krause (1945-2010) collection
