Locality:Ruby Violet claim, Wah Wah Mountains, Beaver County, Utah
Description:Large single crystal of transparent-to-translucent hexagonal bixbite, the red-violet variety of beryl commonly sold as Red Beryl, with remnants of matrix around the base and rear. The red beryl crystal has excellent color. Note the double termination.
