Description:Large specimen of lustrous black mottramite microcrystals coating two faces of tan-colored matrix. Originally labeled as cuprodescloizite, that name is now obsolete and was identified in 1934 as Cu-rich mottramite. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection
