Locality:Songo Pond Quarry, Albany, Oxford County, Maine
Description:Translucent unterminated aquamarine crystal, the blue-green variety of beryl, with hexagonal form, smooth faces and excellent blue color. The crystal was extracted in two segments, then restored with glue. Note the drill intersected the rear edge. Acquired ca. 1998 from J. Brownstein
