Locality:Tsumeb Mine, Otavi-Bergland District, Oshikoto, Namibia
Description:Fibrous green malachite pseudomorph after a single prismatic 90 mm long azurite crystal with yellow-green matrix on the three rear faces. The azurite formed first, then altered molecule by molecule to malachite maintaining the original azurite shape. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection #174; originally acquired in 1941 from Wards
