Mineral:Fluorite on Quartz
Locality:Deer Trail Mine, Deer Trail Mountain-Alunite Ridge mining area, 8 km SSW of Marysvale, Piute County, Utah
Description:Rich cluster of transparent green fluorite crystals on etched white quartz. The fluorite crystals are cubo-octahedral form with surfaces composed of smaller parallel octahedral faces. The fluorite fluoresces violet under UV illumination. Ex. Lawrence H. Conklin (1933-2016)
