Locality: | Rolling Hills condominium construction site, West Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey |
Description: | Compact crystallized quartz with elongated cavities where the quartz formed around slender anhydrite crystals up to 80 mm long. When the anhydrite crystals dissolved away it left molds of their shape in the quartz. The front face was sawn and polished. Ex. John Geiges collection #736 |
