Mineral:Quartz pseudomorphs after Glauberite with Heulandite-Ca
Locality:Upper New Street Quarry, Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey
Description:Hollow quartz epimorphs after bladed anhydrite crystals to 40 mm long, with scattered lustrous brown heulandite crystals to 4 mm on the rear surfaces. The anhydrite formed first, was overgrown by quartz crystals, finally the anhydrite dissolved away. Ex. John Geiges collection #395
