Locality:Stirling Brook, Watchung, Somerset County, New Jersey
Description:Translucent red-amber quartz carnelian in botryoidal ball-formations to 5 mm. The carnelian originally formed as 8 mm thick layer in basalt cavities and weathered out and was found in a local stream bed. Ex. John Geiges collection #616
