Locality:Orford Nickel Mine, 5.6 km southwest of Saint-Denis-de-Brompton, Québec, Canada
Description:Crystallized mass of emerald-green chrome-rich grossular garnet microcrystals on calcite-rich matrix. The garnets from this locality are often misidentified as uvarovite garnets, but are a chrome-rich variety of grossular. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection #730a, collected in 1995
