Mineral:Diamond (2.98 carat brownish-gray dodecahedral crystal)
Locality:Vaal River Mining District, Northern Cape Province, South Africa
Description:Transparent natural diamond crystal with dodecahedral crystal form, though partially octahedral. The crystal faces are smooth with silky luster. Internally the diamond is dark brown zone and lighter zone visible from some orientations. Scattered flaws.
