Locality:Old Goat Mine, near Treece, Cherokee County, Kansas
Description:Crystallized translucent brown sphalerite with epitaxially-oriented overgrowth of yellow-metallic chalcopyrite crystals. The parallel chalcopyrite crystals are oriented to the crystal structure of the underlying sphalerite.
