Description:Sparkling cluster of lustrous pale-purple amethyst quartz crystals lining a concave portion of a cavity wall. The amethyst crystals have terminations dominated by three faces, instead of the usual six. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection #666, originally acquired in 1963
