Locality:Grenville, Québec, Canada
Description:Yellow specimen of wernerite, the fluorescent variety of scapolite composed of the two mineral species Meionite and Marialite. Most likely this is meionite, but only testing can confirm. Fluoresces bright orange under UV illumination. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection #190a; acquired in 1940 from Wards
