Description:Five loose crystals of transparent-to-translucent danburite recovered during the early years of mining by Asarco. The danburite crystals are clean and lustrous; one has partial coating of calcite. Accompanied by original letter from V.P. Brown. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection; gift in 1962 from Adin A. Brown, vice president of Asarco
