Mineral:Spodumene var. Kunzite in Albite
Locality:Nuristan Province, Afghanistan
Description:Doubly-terminated lustrous transparent kunzite crystal, the pink gem variety of the mineral spodumene, embedded in limonite-stained yellow albite feldspar. Much of the kunzite crystal is flawless. Specimens of kunzite in matrix are rare.
