Locality:Nuristan Province, Afghanistan
Description:Large 60 mm transparent kunzite crystal, the pink gem variety of the mineral species spodumene, on a colorless-gray 80 mm translucent quartz crystal. The kunzite crystal is striated with chisel-shaped termination. Specimens of kunzite on matrix are rare.
